Privacy Policy
The short version
Cove is a private, local-first records manager. Your records never leave your devices except through your own private iCloud. We operate no servers, collect no analytics, and show no ads.
Where your data lives
Records, images and details are stored locally on your device. If iCloud is enabled, they sync through YOUR private iCloud database — encrypted by Apple and readable only by you. We have no access to it.
Recognition runs on your device
Text recognition (OCR), document interpretation and subject cutouts run entirely on-device using Apple's Vision framework. Images are never uploaded for processing.
What we don't do
No third-party SDKs. No analytics or crash-reporting networks. No advertising identifiers. No profiling. We cannot read, copy or recover your records.
Your controls
Export your entire library as JSON from Settings at any time. Delete any record, person or tag — deletions are immediate and permanent once cleared from Recently Deleted. Face ID lock and the App-Switcher privacy shield are available in Settings.

简版：Cove 是本地优先的证件管理应用。你的记录除通过你自己的私有 iCloud 外，永不离开你的设备。我们不运营服务器、不收集分析数据、无广告。
数据位置：记录、图片与信息仅存储在你的设备上；开启 iCloud 后经你的私有 iCloud 数据库同步（由苹果加密，仅你可读），我们无法访问。
识别在本机：文字识别与文档解析完全在你的设备上通过 Apple Vision 完成，图片从不上传处理。
我们不做什么：无第三方 SDK、无统计/崩溃上报、无广告标识、无画像；我们也无法读取、复制或恢复你的记录。
你的控制：设置中可随时导出 JSON 全量备份；可删除任意记录、人物或标签（最近删除 30 天后彻底清除）；支持面容 ID 锁与多任务隐私遮罩。
