1. Data Storage Principles

MediBell adopts a completely local data storage approach:

• Local Storage: All medication information, reminder settings, and medication records are stored locally on your device
• iCloud Sync: Data is synced between your devices through your personal iCloud account, handled by Apple's iCloud service
• No Servers: We have no servers and do not receive, store, or process any user data
• Full Control: You have complete control over your data and can delete or export it at any time

2. Permissions

MediBell only requests the following permissions when you actively use related features. All permission processing is done locally without transmitting any data:

• Camera Permission: Only used when you choose to take photos for medication recognition or capture medication photos; photos are saved locally only
• Photo Library Permission: Only used when you select medication images from your photo library; images are displayed locally only
• Notification Permission: Used to send medication reminder notifications; reminder content is generated locally by the system

Important Note: All data processing related to these permissions (photos, notification content, etc.) is completed on your device locally and is not uploaded to any server.

3. Privacy Protection Commitment

We value the privacy protection of every user:

• Zero Data Collection: We do not collect any user data, including but not limited to personal information, usage behavior, location information, etc.
• Zero Data Transmission: Except for syncing between your devices through your own iCloud, we do not perform any network data transmission
• Zero Data Analysis: We do not analyze, count, or track any user behavior
• Zero Third-Party Sharing: We do not share any user data with third parties

4. Children's Privacy

MediBell's privacy protection applies to all users, regardless of age:

• All-Ages Protection: Since we do not collect any user data, there are no special risks regarding children's privacy
• No Targeted Collection: We do not actively collect or identify user age information
• Safe for All: All users can safely use MediBell without worrying about privacy issues

5. Third-Party Services

MediBell only uses the following system-level services:

• Apple iCloud: Used to sync data between your personal devices, provided by Apple and subject to Apple's privacy policy
• Local Notifications: Uses iOS system notification feature to send reminders, processing is completed entirely locally

6. Data Security

Although we don't collect data, we still take necessary measures to protect your data on device:

• System-Level Encryption: Utilize iOS system encryption mechanisms to protect data security
• Sandbox Isolation: App data is stored in system sandbox, inaccessible by other apps
• iCloud Encryption: Data synced through iCloud is encrypted and protected by Apple

7. Your Rights

Since data is stored on your device, you have complete control over your data:

• Full Access: You can view all data in the app at any time
• Free Deletion: You can delete any medication, reminder, or record at any time
• Data Export: You can backup your data through the export function
• Uninstall Clears: Uninstalling the app will clear all app data locally
