Jinn — Personal Workbench

Jinn is a desktop workbench for turning conversations and decisions into completed work.

It keeps the useful parts of a work session together: the original intent, the context behind a decision, the actions taken, and the resulting files or outputs. The goal is a work record that can be reviewed later, rather than another place to leave disconnected notes.

What it is for

  • Keep a clear thread from intent to outcome
  • Separate conversation, execution, and delivered results without losing their relationship
  • Make progress, decisions, and outputs easy to inspect later
  • Keep the interface focused on the work instead of decorative automation

Current release

Version 0.1.0 is available for:

  • macOS on Apple Silicon
  • Windows on x64
  • Linux as an AppImage on x64

Download the installers from the Jinn release site. Each release also includes a SHA256SUMS.txt file for checksum verification.

Jinn is actively developing. The public release channel contains installers and release notes; the main source repository remains private.
